Status: These two tracks are oldsters as well. ‘This way’ was like my first attempt at playing and singing that actually sounded decent, to me. Actually there was another track that went “au revoir sweet demon, it was so hard, loving you… ”; so, I take that back, ‘this way’ is the first one that I can recollect on how to play & the words. ‘Doubt’ (not sure if that is what I want to call it…) was really driven by this electric solo I would lay down over it…but, I’m spent, burnt, busy etc..I’m not dubbin today. I got a new job and have been serving time in the office if you know what I mean. At least I get a fancy title like ‘CREATIVE DEVELOPER’! The chiqs should be swarming with a title like that; but, they’re not. It’s still just me and the cats (I like this though, really). I work at a place we all know of very well too; so, I should be happy and you should be happy for me. My offer letter says Creative Developer; but, my title in the outlook address book says web designer…which is it? IT tardz always sabotage you to look like a fool, it’s the way of those characters. It’s only a contract though and I work for my peeps on the home front as well still, keepin it real. Thanks michelle brown from software resources, you hooked me up like no other. I’m going to send my RECRUITER a little gift for scoring me the gig, I’m stoked.

Just found this CD with a bunch of stuff I was tinkering with when I lived in Portland in 2004. All I know & remember is two crazy female roommates and Reason’s matrix pattern sequencer was my friend.

If I remember correct the plan was to fuse traditional folk with electro ish dNB and do some synth pop melody with some electric work accompaniment…never happened.

Any framework that has functions with names like these (paranoid, blackholes) I’m sure will be a keeper. So, I’m helluv in depthly in this cakePHP framework. Super goodstuff! functions or methods? port or socket? argument or parameter? ::, ( ), [ ], ‘ ‘, ” “,…I will scaffold you all when I’m done with my ACL, ACO & ARO’s. I think this may or may not be affecting my song orchestration…Along with hearing the tweetdeck sound when a new tweet comes down the pipe. I can hear that when I’m recording with the headphones on. It sends a flash of weirdness through whatever I’m picturing in my head as I sway side to side singing to the wall. Does google BUZZ have a SFX(sound effect…). My practical side says only use one of those damn social triggers and you already live out of your gmail inbox. The non conformist side of me says don’t become to dependent on any of these technologies, when you least expect it BAM. The intellectual sliver whispers make your own!
I mentioned in a previous post that I was going to learn a couple of songs and maybe send em to the listener..like an unwanted online singing telegram. Well, I learned em and the strum is…good. Rather than playing the usual I’m in a hurry guy furry like all the stuff I’ve posted thus far, those tracks have a groove. Keep that in mind because I will be posting those two songs sooner than later. I’m still contemplating the offering…They are kinda mooshy and I don’t want anyone getting the wrong idear. While I’m learning the strum a couple of 3 seasons ago leaf of mine(old songs) came back to me, these are the ones I am posting right now.

I started off with the old frantic delivery BUT my computer crashed like 5 times while I was trying to capture ‘december’; so, on the final take I was a little agitated and decided to relax my ready to throw the laptop out the window bones and use the at ease slow strum and apply it to one of my old tunes. I took 3 steps back to take 1 forward, maybe?
I’ve also been experimenting with different pick & string combos for the recording. I know it sounds like a mess; but, that is on purpose. You may say yea right; but, really. I like it crazy before I tame the fire. I can hear it…So ‘december’ is recorded with no pick way slow.
I had 3 reschedules this week? Is that trending #reschedules(interview)=cool

A Song For A Son
As much as performing cover songs reminds me of cheesy irish bars with bands doing their rendition of ‘play that funky music’ here we go. I want to stay on this weekly post something new I’m working on jib. I’ve been listening to this one provided by mister dose for a bit and at first listen I was thinking billy c is biting my style in more than 3 ways; but, who am I kidding. I grew up listening to the smashing pumpkins. It was my breaking point from metal ears only cept for those classic rock hits that were sacred to the guitarist only crowd. I think I fell into the soft zone permanence after this. I remember listening to GISH’s ‘I am one’ when I met my first real girl friend on a cassette tape on a boom box in a vw bug way back when. It was probably the music that was the attraction. When siamese dream came out I saw the pumpkins play a show with the beastie boys and they were just to drunk and played everything to fast right after the beastie boys blew the roof off the house. Whatever I’m drifting. Although I think that is all I want with my music, attach it to a special memory like a stapled polaroid to a wrap sheet..
So, this girl I stalk, I mean follow on twitter posted a song I’m trying to learn just because it is new and has a cool progression with an interesting strum. After another girl just told me oh you are that guy with all the songs that sound the same. I gave the ‘it sounds that bad’ look and she said it’s in a good way…yea right. So, I guess I need to brush up and diversify my sound. The twitter girl is totally out of my league and she is overseas…would it be weird if learned it recorded it and sent it to her? She listens to good music from what she tweets about, IMO, but it’s always on some super hip european beta software that you need ins on and I’m on the outs. I have my ways. I have a new track too to redeem my dignity after mean girl told me change that beat loser. Anyways, I recorded a bunch of stuff and have been handing em out to those special ones, it’s called “Magnitizdat”. I was thinking, I see the same homeless people all the time in front of the shops I frequent and maybe I’ll give em a stack of cd’s to sell for me where they keep the money and stop asking me…what do you think?
Saw Avatar..soooo good. Legion next. Maybe Thursday, booked until then. I’ve been behind on my movie intake. Was Surrogate good? Been watching Caprica. Same girl referenced above, I wonder if she watches shows like heroes and caprica and remembers my notebooks she used to make fun of 15 years ago….
